Yum. Tastes home cooked and is very satisfying. The pita is almost buttery and the mezze plate dips are delicious. Love the sesame seeds in the falafel, which is nice and airy. Falafel comes with very good pickles and green sauce. I split the kibbe burger with someone and it was really good and filling. Homemade buns are what make it. Lots of attention to details with sauces for the fries, fresh herbs on top, etc. Can't wait for next time, thanks!

Amaaazing service! Wish I can give it a 10 star rating. A lot of options for vegetarians/vegans. Fresh tasting and aesthetically pleasing. Must try! Highly recommend!

We have been waiting a while for Magdalene to open and it was definitely worth the wait! The staff is really welcoming and the inside is adorable. We got here at 630 on a Sunday and got a table right away but it was packed by 7. The house made pita is by far the standout! A soft fluffy warm heaven that I never want to leave. It accompanied the best hummas I've ever had in the United States. Brussels and tahini were crispy and delish. For entrees we had the whole branzino and falafel fried chicken. I don't eat chicken and my husband said if I was ever to go back to eating it again this would be the one. We were very impressed by our meal and it wasn't too pricey either. Tres leeches for dessert was maybe the least fave but still decent. There's so much more on the menu we want to try, plus interesting sounding cocktails. Living a block away, I am sure we will be back in no time.

Such a cute spot with AMAZING food (seriously; the in-house made pita and local bread is something I'm still dreaming about). Also recommend the fried Brussels sprouts and falafel fried chicken. Great cocktails and super friendly waitstaff. My friends and I can't wait to go back!
